calendar League Nights - Silver Arrow Bowmen Mon, Tues & Wed January-March Silver Arrow Bowmen Silver Arrow Bowmen 20409 East Hickox Road, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Mon, Tues & Wed, January-March Monday nights January 14th through April 15th, 7pm-9pm Flint Round. This is a different kind of indoor shoot where we shoot various distances from 20 feet to 20 yards. It’s handicapped so all compete at an equal level. Lots of fun. Free for members, $3 for non-members. Tuesday night 6:30-8:30 is our Traditional League night, going on now. Just recurves and longbows, nothing with cams or pulleys. It is a great chance to meet other stick-and-string shooters in the area, and possibly shoot some different bows. Wednesday night through March 27th is League night for all bows. This includes our club handicap league, the State Mail-in Tournament and open practice at any distance up to 20 yards. Free for members, $3 for non-members.
JANuAry 2019 5-6 Early Bird 3D Silver Arrow Bowmen 20409 East Hickox Rd, Mount Vernon 3D fun shoots are on the walk-through course from 8am to 2pm on Saturday and 8am to 1pm on Sunday, start any time either day. We typically have a minimum of 30 life-sized foam targets out on the course each day. Distances are 5-60 yards and will be marked at each stake. This is a fun shoot, no awards but great practice and a good time for all. Absolutely no broad heads are allowed. Fees are Adults (over 18) - $15 one-day, $25 two-day, Youth (12-16) - $7/$10, Cub (7-11) - $5/$7, Peewee (6 & under) – free with paid adult. Feb 9-10 Bucks Bulls & Boars Silver Arrow Bowmen 20409 East Hickox Road, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 On the walk-through course from 8am to 2pm Saturday, start any time, and on Sunday we start at 8:30 am for target assignments with a 9am shotgun start. This shoot contains only huntable animals such as deer, elk, bear, etc., and is great off-season practice for the hunter and fun for everyone else. Distances are 5-60 yards with unmarked yardages and no rangefinders allowed. Door prizes and Awards are typically around 1pm on Sunday. Absolutely no broad heads are allowed. Fees are Adults (over 18) - $15 one-day, $25 two-day, Youth (12-16) - $7/$10, Cub (7-11) - $5/$7, Peewee (6 & under) – free with paid adult.
