Dear St. James’ Community, As we joyfully continue the school’s Jubilee celebration, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the generous philanthropic contributions and community-wide support during the previous year at St. James’ Episcopal School.

2017-2018 marked a year of excitement, preparation and completion. We matriculated a group of exceptionally strong 6th grade scholar-citizens towards their middle school years, completed the four year- vision to refurbish our K-6 campus through the Believe Campaign, and most importantly, the bittersweet experience of saying farewell to a beloved leader while also welcoming me into this terrifically special community.

To top off a successful school year, our annual fund garnered 100% participation from our families, “staffulty,” board, and church vestry – for the 5th consecutive year!

As we continue to celebrate St. James’ 50th Anniversary, I’m honored to lead our community as the new Head of School. Over the next several months, I’ll be sharing some exciting new programming – linked to ensuring that we are imbuing in our students a lifelong love of learning and also inculcating in them a keen sense of responsibility as global citizens. I am confident that this work will only continue to build upon St. James’ reputation as one of the strongest elementary schools in Southern California.

St. James’ legacy is built on the shoulders of this steadfast community, and I look forward to the wonderful opportunity of leading us into our next half-century.
