HVAC Wet Switch Info

Here are the providers I have spoken with in relation to the wet switches for the drain pans in our HVAC systems. I am putting a price for the switch if 1)there are as many as 10 people on the same day and 2) if they have to come out individually to do it. People who already have an HVAC provider may wish to check with their own company as there are sometimes discounts for already being a customer. (I placed the names of the neighbors who use the provider after the service provider name.)

This is meant to help neighbors who want this done. I have spoken with a representative of each company and the following information is what was given to me. Please do not hold me responsible for any unforeseen problems as I am just passing on exactly what I was told.

If you will email me (miwiham@bellsouth.net) by Wednesday, April 28th, I will schedule anyone who wants to go with Four Seasons as that is who I am using. Depending on the number, we will pick one or two days. If you cannot be home either day, perhaps you could get a neighbor to let them in and leave a check for $27.50. The service provider will not need to go into your house—only the garage and attic. The other alternative would be to call individually and pay the individual price. Hope this helps.

If there are at least seven homes, give Names, Phone #’s, Addresses to scheduler and tell them about pricing. Then, call Omid to confirm pricing and date.

Miriam, Ron, Janet and Francis have used this provider and felt they did a good job. Omid is actually the person who discovered the problem.

Service Provider: Four Seasons Heating and Air (Calabro) 1) Cost for 10 or more on the same day: $27.50 each, scheduled together 2) Cost for just one home: $104 if individually scheduled Contact: Robbie Phone: Office-770-475-7110 Instructions: Mike has just begun to use this company but is very satisfied with their work. (It was recommended by a friend.) They are close by (Hwy 9). Miriam talked with a serviceman and had him check her HVAC for what was needed and pricing. He seemed knowledgeable.

Service Provider: Reliable Heat & Air (Jenkins) Cost for 7 or more: $69 Trip charge; $42 installation & part = $111 each Cost for just one home: $84 Trip charge; $42 = $126 each if individually scheduled Contact: Barbara Jape Phone: Office- 770-594-9096 Instructions: Call to schedule. Does not have to be the same day for the discount as long as there are multiple folks doing it. They were a little UNCLEAR about pricing until they actually would come out and diagnose the problem.
