Pinelodge Clinic using social media to support the community during Mental Health Month Yesterday Jess Laurito, Nurse Unit Manager and Dr David Young, Clinical Psychologist and Therapy Manager hosted the very first Facebook Live event for, not only Pinelodge Clinic, but South East Melbourne hospitals. Over 100 people tuned in during the live hourlong discussion which saw the dynamic duo offer advice on heading back to work, school and for re-connecting with loved ones as Melbourne’s Covid-19 restrictions lift. It was suggested that taking baby steps and easing back into social settings would be a good idea and to take a return to life outside the home gently. Moving forward we will offer more of these community events online as a marketing exercise but also as a way of offering support to our community when it is in need. Thank you to Jess and David for your willingness to participate and for offering your expertise and to Nathan Culpitt (marketing) for leading on the project. Great job!
