A reflection: Langmore “I had the honour of being on the Pastoral Care team to assist with resident care at Langmore. I’d like to express my gratitude to all the caregivers who went above and beyond to make our residents comfortable and valued during their short stay with us. I had many comments from residents themselves and their families who could not praise our care enough. One family member could not believe our generosity in service provision saying, “I can’t believe that a large organisation could be so caring.” Powerful words indeed. From Environmental caregivers, Catering to medical and nursing, under compassionate and competent leadership, we gave our all and a bit more for the benefit of the most vulnerable in our community. It was also great to work alongside some of our SJOG regional caregivers who made the long trip from their respective homes to help out. To our Pastoral Care leadership and support team, a small but heartfelt, “thank you”. I will not forget your companionship and support during this most unusual time.” - Jennifer Jornet, Pastoral Practitioner
