BUILDing A Strong Foundation Award (CON’T.)

The teen who best represents the mission of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation to “BUILD a Strong Foundation” will be awarded with this honor at the 67th Annual Southeastern Region Teen Leadership Conference.

Eligibility:

 All Chapter Teen Foundation or SERvice Chairs who served for the 20222023 program year are eligible.

 Attendance at the 67th Annual Southeastern Region Teen Leadership Conference is required.

 Only one submission per chapter will be allowed.

 Submissions will be uploaded to the TC registration site.

 All submissions must be received no later than April 15, 2023.

Application Criteria:

A video between 1 minute and 4 minutes in length addressing these points:

● A discussion of the SERvice activities the applicant planned centered around the three philanthropic focus areas of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation: African American families, education, health & wellness and/or a discussion of the amount of funds their chapter teens raised for various Foundation efforts such as Loose Change, Double Good, Giving Tuesday, The College GAP Fund etc.

● How the applicant influenced his or her community in a positive way.

● How the applicant invested their time to encourage teens in his or her chapter to get involved.
