Chapter Banner Guidelines
Design must be created by Teens; however, the banners may be professionally reproduced.
Design must reflect the history of the city, area, and state of the chapter.
Banners can be made of any material.
Banners may be any size up 3’x 4’, no larger.
Banners must be uploaded electronically for judging to the registration site by the deadline. No exceptions. You must bring the banner on site to be eligible to win.
Delegates will process in with the banners at this year’s teen conference opening.
Banners will be displayed along with portfolios, T-shirts, and scrapbooks at the conference.
LTS to upload jpg of banner to the registration website.
CHAPTER T-SHIRT GUIDELINES
Shirts may be any color but must be crew neck or v-neck with short sleeves.
Use of conference theme: T-Shirt design must reflect the conference theme.
T-Shirts must be designed by chapter teens.
T-Shirts may be professionally reproduced (i.e., screen-printing, airbrushing, etc.).
Chapter name & Jack and Jill logo must appear on T-Shirt.
The T-shirt should represent Jack & Jill and the values of the organization.
T-Shirts must be uploaded electronically for judging to the registration site by the deadline. No exceptions. You must bring the t-shirt on site to be eligible to win.
T-shirts will be displayed along with portfolios, banners, and scrapbooks at the conference.
Chapter T-shirts will be judged on inclusion of the conference theme, creativity, and originality.
LTS must upload a .jpg of the t-shirt to the registration website.
Chapter Scrapbook Guidelines
• ALL chapter scrapbooks and portfolios must be printed and brought onsite to the conference.
• Contents must document service projects and accomplishments of chapter teens.
• Chapter Participation is voluntary but strongly encouraged.
• Creativity and the presentation of programming initiatives is highly encouraged.
• Chapter Teens must be represented.
• Community Service activities should be highlighted.
• Lead Teen Sponsors should upload a compressed pdf to the registration site.
• 100 single side maximum and 50 page maximum if double-sided.
Chapter Stepshow Competition
Rules and Regulations
Routines are limited to five (5) minutes.
Timing begins on the start of the first word, step, or beat of music and ends on last word, step, or beat of music.
Penalties (Five (5) points per judge for any of the following infractions)
• Use of obscene language or gestures (may result in disqualification).
• Ridicule of other chapters, people, or race
• Exceeding the five-minute time limit
• Jumping off the stage into the audience
• Performances that exceed six (6) minutes will not be eligible for prize regardless of final score.
Judges
• Panel of college and/or alumni young adults with prior experience in judging step competitions
• First, Second, Third place will be awarded.
Chapter Teen Community Service Project of the Year
The Region is excited and honored to acknowledge and reward the great community service of our Teens. Jack and Jill proudly instills the importance of giving to all our children –especially for our Teens.
The Teen Community Service Project Award recognizes and honors chapters whose teens have developed and implemented an exceptional community service project during the 2021-2022 programming year. This award reinforces Jack and Jill’s emphasis on community service and awards chapters who have done an outstanding job in terms of their teen service project.

•To account for differences in chapter sizes and resources, up to THREE awards may be presented.
