Shattering Glass Ceilings Award
The Glass Ceiling is a metaphor for the invisible barrier that prevents some people from rising. It's a subtle but damaging form of discrimination, where you cannot take the opportunities you see in front of you – despite your suitability and your best efforts. The Shattering Glass Ceilings Award will be given to a teen with a physical, intellectual, or developmental disability that has taken the glass ceilings placed on those with disabilities and used it to insight change within their community.
Award for teens in the SER with an intellectual, developmental, or physical disability.

During the event(s) we encourage teens within the buddy pairs to exchange information and get to know each other.
