JASON K. CORDON, PRINCIPAL Jason K. Cordon graduated summa cum laude from Campbell University with a B.A. in accounting in 2000, and cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2003. Mr. Cordon practiced tax law at Paul Hastings, LLP before he joined Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, an Am Law 200 firm. He was elected to the partnership in 2012 and was a partner in the tax, corporate and real estate capital markets practices.

In 2016, he co-founded Kowan & Cordon, LLP. Mr. Cordon’s legal practice was concentrated on the representation of investors, developers, and syndicators nationwide in connection with tax-incentivized investments, including conservation-motivated real estate funds, LIHTC, film tax credits, and other credits.

Mr. Cordon has 10+ years of real estate development experience and has been involved in the development of $100+ million of commercial real estate.

NATALIE RILEY, PRINCIPAL Natalie D. Riley has extensive experience with commercial real estate, business organization, and affordable housing development and financing. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a J.D. in 2001.

In 2003, Riley closed the first multi-asset mark-to-market transaction in Missouri consisting of 10 projects and has been the lead attorney in several individual and multiproject closings.

Riley has represented numerous developers, project owners, investors, and financial institutions in affordable housing projects throughout the U.S. She has worked with various local, state, and federal agencies including USDA Rural Development and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

STEPHEN HOLDEN, PRINCIPAL Stephen W. Holden graduated from the University of Kansas with a J.D. in 1975 and began his career with an emphasis on commercial real estate, specializing in long-term health care properties and affordable housing developments.

In addition, Mills is a manager of Renewable Energy Alternatives (REA) that specializes in the development and tax credit syndication of renewable energy products throughout the U.S. with an emphasis on the Northeast U.S., California, and Hawaii. REA has developed 150 properties since 2012. Mills’ real estate portfolio exceeds $300 million under management.

Serving as Developer and Lender’s counsel, Holden has closed more than $2 billion in affordable housing projects in dozens of syndicated developments throughout the Midwest. With his extensive background in affordable housing, Holden saw an opportunity when the Low Income Housing (LIH) Tax Credit market cratered in 2008. Rather than replicating the approach of larger institutions, Holden developed a syndication model to pair profitable community and state banks as investors in local and regional LIH Tax Credit developments. In addition, Holden has applied his proven syndication model to the renewable energy field, resulting in the completion of numerous successful wind and solar projects.

AMY MICHAELSON KELLY, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER Amy Michaelson Kelly graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and graduated magna cum laude from the university’s College of Law. Prior to joining Sixty West, Ms. Kelly practiced law for 10 years in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent most of her career at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an international Am Law 15 law firm. In private practice, Ms. Kelly represented large companies and government entities in complex litigation involving real estate development and other business ventures.

MATT MILLS, PRINCIPAL A 2001 graduate of Ole Miss with a B.A. in finance, Matthew A. Mills started as VP of First National Bank of Malden, Missouri. In 2003, Mills joined MACO Companies as Senior Housing Coordinator over 13 states and 9,800 housing units. He was promoted to CFO in 2006. His work specialized in LIHTC Developments and the acquisition of Single Tenant Commercial Assets.

As Chief Operations Officer of Sixty West Funds, Ms. Kelly has been instrumental in launching Sixty West’s Opportunity Zone program, participating in the identification of targeted investments and the design of one of the nation’s first Opportunity Zone funds. Ms. Kelly is a frequent speaker on Opportunity Zone investment topics and educates participants in all areas of real estate development on the Opportunity Zone legislation.

In 2009, Mills joined Holden as a managing partner of CRA Investments, LLC. They built a thriving tax credit syndication business that benefits investors and makes possible the construction of much-needed development across the country. CRA Investments has been responsible for the syndication of $800+ million in tax credit projects with $100+ million allocated towards historic development.

Ms. Kelly also serves as the General Counsel of Sixty West.

OZ FRIEDMANN, MANAGING DIRECTOR Oz Friedmann has spent more than 15 years in business development and financial strategy. As Managing Director of Development, he oversees the development process for the company’s real estate portfolio, including managing all aspects of the development process from site acquisition through design, entitlements, financing, construction, leasing, and disposition of assets.

Friedmann joined Sixty West in 2018 following a successful turn at Mill Creek Residential Trust as development associate, where his focus was on mixeduse development. He was responsible for the site selection or management of all phases of development of over 2,000 apartment homes and 100,000 square feet of retail. Prior to Mill Creek, he served as portfolio manager at Renova Partners, focusing on distressed debt, investment banking, and asset consulting. He’s also served as development associate at Pollack Partners, being responsible for the due diligence, entitlements, design, and lease-up of approximately 1,000 market rate apartment homes.

Friedmann received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.

ROYCE SNIDER, DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS Royce Snider graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a minor in management in 2005. Royce has been involved in the real estate industry for the past 12 years. He started working for a nationwide real estate due diligence firm straight out of college that primarily focused on the LITHC industry. There, he gained the knowledge and insight of real estate markets nationwide. Royce later acquired his Missouri state real estate license and began a career in commercial real estate development and investments.

He currently has sold or developed over $250 million in commercial real estate throughout the country, half of that being LITHC acquisitions dispositions.

Royce is also part owner in Legacy Properties Management Company, which mainly focuses on the management of LITHC properties. Royce and his wife, Hali, currently reside in Dexter, Missouri, with their daughter, Mila.
