With larger needles and MC, cast on 38 sts. Purl next row. Beg with a knit row, cont in St st (k on RS, p on WS) as foll: BOTTOM SHAPING Cast on 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows, then 3 sts at beg of next 6 rows—66 sts.
