TUNING SPECIAL GORI ELABORAZIONI The foundations for the legend surrounding GORI tuning components was laid in a small workshop in Florence, belonging to Vasco, the father of Giancarlo Gori in 1958. Here they first experimented tuning the early Lambretta models until they could present any products to the general public. A combination of the great demand for his tuning products and the competition provided by the famous Ancilotti family of tuners, also based in Florence, led to Gori constantly developing his products further to be able to offer innovative components for the tuning of Lambretta scooters. Even to this day the parts produced in Italy by GORI are sought after by Lambretta enthusiasts across the globe and their seats, exhaust systems and tuning cylinders have long since attained cult status.

RACING CYLINDER GORI „SPORT“ 200 for Lambretta 125 LI/Special/GP/DL/150 LI/Special/SX/GP/DL/175 TV The GORI 200cc ‚Sport‘ tuning cylinder kit is designed for use with the Lambretta 125-175cc smallblock motors, in combination with crankshafts that possess a 107mm con rod and 58mm stroke. Features including its solid overall design, a high end bore finishing, completely redesigned transfer port architecture and inlet and outlet ports ensure a noticeable but measured increase in power output, when compared to standard motor set ups. Although the use of this cylinder kit in combination with a standard sized carburettor is possible, Giancarlo Gori himself recommends the inclusion of a large diameter carburettor to exploit its true potential. Alongside the cast iron cylinder the kit includes a re-profiled aluminium cylinder head, a specially produced ‚Meteor‘ piston with three piston rings, a freshly conceived inlet manifold, a stiffer set of clutch springs and all the necessary gaskets. An optimal compromise between an improved overall performance and increased reliability. When using this kit in your motors set up we recommend its combination with the ‚Sport‘ exhaust system (#22084000), also produced by GORI. The gear ratios will also require modification and should be adjusted to suit the purpose of the scooters use and owners riding style.
