Owner of a scooter with a PIAGGIO 'Leader' motor can be happy now! MALOSSI has taken the motor tuning credo that 'Nothing beats capacity, except more capacity' and are now producing a 218cc cylinder. Up till now, extensive crankshaft modifications were necessary in order to increase its cubic capacity beyond 209cc. Now Vespa GT / GTS or Gilera VX owners can also enjoy the benefits that more power can provide! The extra capacity is attained by increasing the bore diameter to 75.5mm, which also provides a noticeable boost in torque delivery, compared to its 209cc predecessor. Further advanced features, such as the aluminium construction and nicasil lined bore, are the typical signs of uncompromisingly high quality that we have come to expect from all MALOSSI parts. The 218cc cylinder is compatible with both the original and the MALOSSI 'V-4' cylinder heads. If you are planning a full-power motor project then we can recommend this 218cc cylinder kits. The complete cylinder kit available for motors with carburettors includes a sharper camshaft and the MALOSSI 'V-4' cylinder head. The tuning kit for motors equipped with fuel-injection also includes the 'FORCEMASTER 2' fuel-injection control module. for Vespa GTS/GTV/GT/GT L 125-200cc, 4-stroke, LC 'You can't beat cubes' KÜBLER RACING, from Bonn in Germany, have taken this advice to heart and the proof is presented in the form of these conversion kits for the Leader 125-200cc LC engines. These kits consist of a modified crankshaft combined with either a 278cc PIAGGIO cast iron cylinder, or a 282cc MALOSSI aluminium cylinder as part of the SERIE PRO range. Further parts such as a cam-chain, air-filter adapter and all necessary fixing parts are included in the scope of delivery. The impressive boost in both torque and power provided by these kits makes the investment more than worth it! If you already possess a PIAGGIO Quasar engine's cylinder as a tuning basis we can recommend the crankshaft conversion kits. If you wish to fit a conversion cylinder to the 250cc Quasar engine you will require a crankshaft with a 60mm stroke and a 15mm gudgeonpin diameter, 300cc Quasar engines need a crankshaft with a 63mm stroke and a 16mm gudgeon-pin diameter. Cast iron / aluminium / 75-75,5mm bore / 4-stroke LC Helpful Hint: The KÜBLER conversion crankshafts are based on 'Kat 2' crankshafts but are also fully compatible with engines where the 'Kat 1' crankshaft was originally fitted.
