POLINI produce the 'Maxi Speed Clutch' as an economically priced alternative to the original item. Its construction and design were kept simple, although it remains noticeably more stable and durable than the standard item. This solidity also makes it compatible with lightly tuned engine setups. The POLINI 3G 'For Race' clutch remains a standard tuning component when in need of an upgraded clutch system. To adjust the stiffness of the spring arrangement, extra springs are included and their pre-load can also be affected through the use of alternative fixing holes that provide their attachment to the clutch itself. The adjustable weights incorporated into the shoes of this clutch allow it to be set up properly without disassembly.

CLUTCH DR. PULLEY HIT CLUTCH

The HiT clutch from Dr. Pulley rounds off the top of the crop of clutches. The innovative HiT clutch uses engine torque - not just centrifugal force alone - a combination that puts this product in the upper end of power performance clutch systems. Made of two interlocked movable parts, its originality is due to using a cleverly devised sliding/wedge system to create additional pressure that combines both torque and centrifugal energy - as opposed to the average clutch system which relies on centrifugal force alone. The stronger the engine (higher resistance for your engine to work with), the more pressure the wedge can exert on the surface of the clutch shoes, which means saving performance energy that would otherwise be lost. Other clutches start to slip when they reach certain rpm's or speeds. Not with the HiT clutch! Daily riders get a new edge when going uphill or overtaking. Sport pilots appreciate increased power performance in higher rpm's. The clutch is adjusted by means of two spring systems. While one of them regulates the acceleration rpm status at which the clutch is activated, the second spring system regulates its traction quality. New fixing nut for clutch and clutch bell.
