dmitting that she has always had a passion for clothes and fashion, April McCormick is truly in her element as owner of The Clothing Agency for Men, a NU2U clothing store that opened in May. âI am an avid shopper of resale clothing. Itâs fun for me,â April says. âI love doing it.â She says her husband came up with the idea for the store. âHe asked me if there was a resale clothing store for men, would I shop there,â April says. âAnd I said yes, thereâs definitely a need for it.â 100

The store offers designer brands such as Diesel, Robert Graham, John Hardy, True Religion, Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani, Tommy Bahama, Mark Nason and others. Prices are more than 50 percent less than retail, April says, and the store features business suits on consignment. The storeâs concierge service is also popular, she adds. Customers can go online to set up a pickup time and The Clothing Agency will come to their home. âIf a customer wants to donate any items that we donât purchase, weâll also get customers a donation receipt for their tax records,â April says. As an entrepreneur, April says she understands that there are other options out there for people to sell and buy resale apparel such as Craigslist or garage sales, but time is money and
The Clothing Agency eliminates the work. âPeople have to determine how they want to spend their time,â she says. The retail space, which is near Scheels, is designed as a manâs store but is still woman-friendly. âIt has a modern, industrial feel but is a place where everyone would enjoy shopping,â she adds. âAnd our goal is not to have racks so crowded that itâs overwhelming,â April says. âWe want to make it easy for people to find what they like.â
