Drivers required to clean and maintain trucks. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs, 50 yds. Class A or International Commercial Driver's License, good driving record and driving skills required. No prior education required. 3 months semi-truck driving experience required. Daily transportation to and from the employer's place of business will be provided. $20.31/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm with up to 20 hours overtime may be available but not guaranteed. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. $31.22/hr. for overtime. All deductions from the worker's paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay bi-weekly by check. Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) currently has an opening for an Accountant. NIPCO is a 501(c)(12), not-for-profit generation and transmission electric cooperative serving Western Iowa. This individual will be responsible for performing general accounting activities, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditures. The accountant will also be involved with monthly depreciation, work order and job order costs, write-offs and overheads, monthly billings, and journal entries. Knowledge in the field of Accounting is required with at least three to five years of accounting experience preferred. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in accounting is recommended but not required. The successful candidate needs to have a strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as the ability to see the bigger picture when completing assignments.
