Despite the myriad of newly blossomed memories, SSM had one last surprise for their adventurous students The Philippines is well-known for its agriculture, therefore what better way to showcase Filipino pride than a trip to the Enchanted Farm of Gawad Kalinga! With the help of the community, they learnt about livelihood enterprises and were even able to plant Calamansi, lady fingers, mulberriesandmanymore.Thevisitconcludedwith students creating delicious products including Kesong Puti, sun dried tomatoes, peanut brittle you name it! But beyond the delicious goods and adorable farm animals, Samantha found herself more immersed in the values the Philippines had to offer.

The country is very vibrant, welcoming and filled with positive people. They focus a lot on building people's character, teaching people to be gracious and grateful.
