Lincoln County Superintendent Bruce Smith

Football season is a special time of year in Lincoln County and across Kentucky Friday nights bring our community together under the lights, as families, friends, and neighbors gather to cheer on our hometown teams. The excitement of the game, the sound of the band, and the pride of wearing school colors make high school football more than just a sport it’s a tradition that unites us.
High school athletics play a vital role in shaping young people, teaching lessons that extend far beyond the field Our student-athletes learn the value of discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership They face challenges head-on, celebrate victories together, and grow stronger from setbacks. These experiences prepare them not only for the next game, but for life.
As another football season kicks off, we celebrate the athletes who represent their schools with passion and dedication We also recognize the coaches, parents, and fans whose support makes these moments possible Here’s to a season filled with hard work, great memories, and community pride Go Patriots!
Catch all the Lincoln County Patriots football action live on WPBK-FM 102.9, or listen anywhere through our Apple and Android apps!
