Preston Community Radio Presentation Training

Radio Preston was the dream of Peter Allen having worked for other Community Radio Stations Peter decided there was a drastic need for Presentation Training to improve the quality of a shows output.

Peter along with a team of dedicated volunteers and aided in the early days by David Williams set about acquiring funding and later Radio Preston On Line Community Radio Station was born.

The station offers Presentation Training free of charge to over 18 year olds upwards with no upper limit to anyone with a passion to present their own Radio Show, this training is not offered in our region. Radio Preston is run entirely by volunteers and our aim is to provide quality and varied Radio Programmes with the people who join our training eventually joining our Presentation team.

: formula one 2012 season preview //

“As we head further into the new year, the upcoming Motorsport season is approaching, most prominently the build up to another exiting chapter in the World of Formula One”.

Last season amongst the drama, we witnessed a dominant performance by Sebastian Vettel, making him one of only a select few back-to-back World Champions.

Many viewers criticised the sport last season for its one sidedness, but it was not all plain sailing as Jenson Button provided the sternest test for the young German.

Many cynics question whether it is more the design and speed of the Red Bull car which has propelled Vettel into stardom, or whether he really does just have the genuine talent to be the fastest man on the planet. There is no doubting his preparation though. Weeks before the beginning of last season, Vettel visited the main factory of Pirelli, F1’s new tyre supplier, to more thoroughly understand the design and technology, in the hope of giving him an advantage come race day. That visit clearly benefited him, winning the first race in Australia and going on to win the Championship in Japan, five races before the end of the season.
