Preying on Pets Kansas City is a great place to live. The cost of living is low. We’re friendly. In this part of the country, raising kids — and pets — KC is an ideal place to call home. But there are others that call this place home. The natural wildlife in the area can pose a threat to our small pets. Predators such as coyotes and birds of prey can cause devastation to a family by carrying off a beloved pet.
