W

ith the new wireless devices line, EL.MO. offers the possibility to extend the fire detection also to wireless system. It expands the range of use reaching places that otherwise would be excluded. The wireless device line is the ideal solution for environments with difficult or completely impossible wiring and to hold down the installation costs and the systems start up times.

Thanks to the WME100 expander module is possible to interface to conventional control unit up to 32 wireless devices for each conventional line. It is also possible to integrate the wireless system to the analogue-addressed systems, thanks to the use of the MCM-AS3B optional modules for interfacing on the AS loop or to MCIEBOX for loop IE. The line is complete with all the devices required for systems, also for large dimensions, which ensure the highest level of security.

Line composition The wireless fire detection line is composed by following devices: • 1IWMBOX: Self-powered input module that allows the connection of other devices (for example gas sensor) to detection system • WCP100: Manual resettable call-point • WTU: Wireless programming keyboard

WIRELESS With wireless devices is possible to extend the fire detection also to environments in which the wired detection is excluded due to aesthetic-functional constraints or it is impossible to realize a wired system.

INTEGRATION The wireless detection system integrates with all EL.MO. fire detection control unit: • TA1002 and TA1004: directly on one or more conventional lines • TA2000: directly on one or more conventional lines and/or on AS loop via MCM-AS3B optional module or on IE loop via MCIEBOX optional module. • FX series: on loop with AS protocol through the MCM-AS3B optional module or on loop with IE protocol through MCIEBOX optional module.

WIRING The wireless technology eliminates the use of cables for the connection of sensors, call-points and input module. This allows to reduce costs and installation times.

CPR CERTIFICATION The devices of the EL.MO. wireless line are certified CPR 305/2011 ensuring the compliance with the Regulations in the fire field.

EXPANSION Thanks to the input module, it is possible to integrate in the wireless system also wired devices, allowing the creation of complete and articulated systems.

COMPLETION TIMES The configuration of wireless devices is very quick and simple. Moreover, thanks to the supplied Wirelex-Fire programming software, it is possible to test the quality of the signals transmission.

Wireless fire detection Conventional system expander module WME100 SGCWE100 Module allows the connection to a conventional detection line up to 32 wireless devices signaling to the control unit the alarm and/or fault status. The alarm and/or fault status is signaled through proper relay to the detection line such as a conventional detector. Wireless keyboard WTU PU Wireless keyboard for the configuration and the supervision of the devices integrated in the system. The keyboard can be used for the first configuration and programming of the devices and also for following reprogramming. It allows the status monitoring of the associated devices. SG100 Smoke detector (Tyndall effect). The wide range of analogue detection, provides the alarm signal when the amount of smoke exceeds a certain threshold. SG350 Rate of rise heat detector (A1R class, threshold 58°C). SG200 Smoke and Rate of rise detector that combines the optical sensor functionality to the sensor (A1 class, 58°C threshold). SGCP100 Manual resettable call-point. The restore is possible by turning the supplied key. If it is removed from its housing, the call-point sends a fault message.
