Enhanced all-inclusive fares and new Essential fare

With the introduction of Silversea’s new Essential fare, guests enjoy The Luxury of Choice with three unique fare options.

DOOR-TO-DOOR ALL-INCLUSIVE FARE: PEACE OF MIND

For those who prefer everything be taken care of from the moment they leave home through their return. Includes Blacklane transfers, airfare, all onboard inclusions and shore excursions. Air credit is no longer available with this fare. This fare has a quarterly book by date. Available on all voyages.

what’s new:

• This fare will ONLY be offered with air. Guests cannot opt-out of the air and receive a non-use air credit as in the past.

• As a result, this fare will not be available in markets where Silversea does not offer air such as some countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

• Should flights become unavailable in some destinations, then Door-to-Door fare will not be available for that particular cruise.

• Fare Code: 03 or GV (Grand Voyage) or WC (World Cruise) or CB (Combo Voyage) Pax Type: Air Sea A/S.

PORT-TO-PORT ALL-INCLUSIVE FARE: FLEXIBILITY

For those who prefer to book and manage their own transfers and airfare. Includes all onboard inclusions and shore excursions. This fare has a quarterly book by date.

what’s new:

• This fare is now available on all voyages.

• Now combinable with Venetian Society benefits.

• Now with the same terms and conditions and combinability as Door-to-Door.

• Fare Code: 03 or GV (Grand Voyage) or WC (World Cruise) or CB (Combo Voyage) Pax Type: Cruise Only C/O.

• Now benefits from price guarantee program.

ESSENTIAL FARE: VOYAGE-ONLY; TIME-LIMITED

For those who prefer the freedom to book and manage their own transfers and airfare and shoreside experiences. Includes only onboard inclusions. Shore excursions are not included. This fare does not have a book by date. It is offered for a limited time only on select voyages closer to sail date.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Will there still be a quarterly increase?

A: Yes, Door-to-Door and Port-to-Port fares will increase every quarter to instill urgency for guests to book.

Q. Will the Essential fare have a quarterly increase?

A: No. The Essential fare is capacity-controlled and time-limited and is offered closer to sail date, typically within 5 months. Essential fare can expire at any time. Prices may change at any time.

Q. What happens if within a double occupancy booking only one guest wants Door-to-Door and one guest wants Port-to-Port?

A: This is possible. 2 guests can be booked on the same suite/booking on two different fares such as Door-to-Door and Port-to-Port.

Q. What happens if within a double occupancy booking only one guest wants Door-to-Door or Port-to-Port and one guest wants Essential fare?

A: This is not possible within the same booking.

Q. What if the guest/s wants to remove some of the included services. Is this possible?

A: In any fare type, a guest can request for services to be removed from their experience, however, they will not receive compensation (NUC – non-use credit – will not be issued), except in the case of Blacklane executive transfer services. In this case, a credit will be applied to the guest’s booking.

Q. What happens if the executive transfer service provided by Blacklane is not available?

A: In the event Silversea is not able to provide Blacklane service for a particular guest booking with our Door-to-Door fare, a non-use credit will be applied to the booking as long as the guest notifies Silversea. This is available in the supplement list.

Q. When flights are no longer available, what will happen with Door-to-Door fares?

A: The Door-to-Door fare will no longer be offered and/or visible on our website. The available fare/s will be Port-to-Port and Essential, if available for that voyage.

Q. What if guests are booked on Door-to-Door fare and want to switch to Port-to-Port (or vice-versa). Can they do this and how does it work?

A: Yes, guests can switch fare types. To do this, they must first cancel their existing booking and rebook with their preferred fare type.

Q. Will there be dedicated “for purchase” shore excursion package offered in conjunction with the Essential fare?

A: No. However, guests are able to buy shore excursions individually directly on My Silversea at a charge.

Q. Will the Essential fare be available to book as a Special Combination voyage?

A: No.

Q. Will the Essential fare be available to book a Grand Voyage?

A: No.

Frequently asked questions (CONTINUED)

Q. Will the Essential fare be available to book a World Cruise?

A: No.

Q. How frequently will the scope of voyages offering the Essential fare be updated?

A: Frequent changes should be expected, as the Essential fare is capacity controlled and managed dynamically. For example, the Essential fare might be available to book a particular voyage for just two or three weeks.

Q. For Port-to-Port bookings, why can’t we add ancillary items such as air, hotel, and transfers?

A: If guests wish to purchase an all-inclusive fare, then we recommend the Door-to-Door All-Inclusive fare. We do not offer a la carte pricing.

Q. What fares are available on cruise segments, meaning when guests buy a portion of a cruise?

A: The Port-to-Port fare is available on all segments; the Essential fare will be available if active on the specific segment. Door-to-Door will not be available in this type of booking.

Q. Why are there so many restrictions with regards to combinability with Essential fare?

A: This is a price-driven fare, already priced as our most affordable. Accordingly, restrictions are needed to avoid a price point that would be too low.

Q. Are there any changes to Business Class supplements on Door-to-Door fares?

A: No. Business Class upgrades remain available depending on market/destination. Note that the cost supplements are subject to change without any prior notice.

Q. How can I know if a cruise offers the Essential fare?

A: If a particular voyage features the Essential fare, it will be noted on the corresponding voyage page on our website.

Q. What if the guest is booked on the “old” Door-to-Door fare (Air & Sea or Cruise Only with air credit) and wants to switch to the “new” Portto-Port fare. Is it possible?

A: Yes. The guest will have to cancel and rebook. For exceptional cases, please contact your Sales Representative.

Q. How will Silversea’s new pricing/fares impact existing groups under active price protection?

A: There will be no impact. However, the group creation date must not be moved later than 17 March 2024; otherwise, the group must be rebuilt with new conditions.

Q. Can an agency sell both Door-to-Door and Port-to-Port under the same group shell with the pricing/fares?

A: Yes. Only one group is needed (either with Fare Codes: 03, CB or GV). The group master will pull both Air Sea (A/S) and Cruise Only (C/O) fares. Terms & Conditions are also identical, so it should be easier for an agent to promote group business.

Q. Can Future Cruise Credits (FCC) be used on all three fare types?

A: Yes.

Q. Are the onboard services differentiated per fare booked?

A: No. Onboard inclusions, services and amenities are the same for all guests regardless of fare type. The only difference is that the Essential fare does not include shore excursions, which may be purchased independently via My Silversea or once onboard ship.

Q. Are Venetian Society savings combinable with the Essential fare?

A: No. Venetian Society savings are not combinable with the Essential fare; however, guests booking the Essential fare will accrue Venetian Society days. Essential fare is, however, combinable with the Referral Offer.

Q. Does the price guarantee apply to the Essential Fare?

A: No.
