Dear Readers, The year 2019 had an extremely dynamic start for Silicon Alps Cluster GmbH. The team was in the middle of preparations for the signature event with the catchy, easy-to-remember

cooperation and international visibility were at the top of the agenda, and national and European cluster organizations were invited to plan and execute a major event together.

All cluster organizations invited their cooperation partners and, embedded in a valuable supporting program, a space for networking was created.

Especially in the field of electronic-based systems, the exchange between user and manufacturer is extremely important. The cooperation partners of the Silicon Alps Cluster develop technologies that are needed across many application areas in order to implement smart products. So the team spared no effort and considered carefully how to engage visitors and to inspire them with the world of electronic-based systems. With an eye for detail, the team offered an inviting, visitorfriendly experience from the initial registration to the final reading. A raffle was successfully premiered at the event, and proved highly engaging to the participants.

And of course the region also profits from the glamour of the event, because a place hosting such a complex and interesting program must be a great place to work and live.

Numerous other initiatives with strong content were implemented in 2019 in order to fulfil our promise to make a valuable contribution to the region. 2019 is a year in which we have succeeded in doing so.

In addition, we wanted to offer the leading companies in the South-Austrian region the opportunity to present themselves to an international audience, thereby increasing the international visibility and strengths of the Silicon Alps region. As always when you arrange something for the very first time, we learned a lot. We are glad for that and we have listened to your needs. We asked all the exhibitors and all participants for feedback, and the results were overwhelmingly positive. Besides the great feedback for the event, we want to highlight one point. One common comment from the participants and exhibitors was that #LetsCluster was the event for business opportunities. Overall, there have been a lot of discussions among the participants during and after the event.

Furthermore, the program got excellent feedback: for most of the visitors, the content was very interesting, a deep dive and far beyond everyday marketing speeches.
