Ashley and her fiance, Jack
Ashley, a 2015 graduate of the Beta Xi chapter, is engaged! Jack Allbritton and Ashley have been together almost 7 years, and Jack proposed on Valentine’s Day 2022. They are excited to start forever together!

Shannon Tignor Ellis
The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the appointment of nine new U.S. soybean farmers to serve on the United Soybean Board (USB) and reappointed eight directors for an additional term. Among them was Shannon Tignor Ellis from Champlain, Virginia, who was officially sworn in on March 28, 2022 during New Director Orientation in St. Louis, Missouri. Farmer-leaders will serve a three-year term to represent the national soy checkoff.

Casey Hushon
Casey Hushon, a 2007 graduate of the Pi Chapter at Virginia Tech, was recently promoted to Executive Director at Hope Lake Country, a non-denominational church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Hope Church recently moved into their first facility, a 26,000-square-foot building, after almost two decades as a portable church.

Sarah Coffman
Sarah (Hetrick) Coffman has been selected as a Farm Foundation Young Agri-Food Leader! In this role, she will work with other emerging leaders in food and agribusiness to learn more about tackling challenges along the whole food chain. Sarah is a former Chapter Consultant and is an alumna of the Alpha Psi chapter at Cornell University.
Congratulations to the sisters of Gamma Alpha Chapter! The chapter was selected as the Sorority of the Year at Wilmington College! Along with the chapter award, the chapter was named the recipient of the Tara Lydy Service and Philanthropy Award.

Savannah Schneider, a sister of the Gamma Beta chapter, has been accepted into veterinary school through the WIMU program with Washington State University. She will be starting veterinary school this fall and studying to become a large animal veterinarian.

Alexis Stachurski
Alexis Stachurski, a Gamma chapter sister, was recently accepted to veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts! Alexis will begin her veterinary school in January 2023.

Kalyn's microgreen business, SoDak Greens
Kalyn (Brix) Gutormson, an alumna of the Delta Chapter, recently started a microgreen business. Kalyn’s goal is to provide fresh greens throughout eastern South Dakota.

Lydia Johnson
Lydia Johnson, an Iowa State University student and sister of the Delta Chapter, recently recieved a $1,500 scholarship from the Agricultural Relations Council (ARC). Lydia is studying agricultural communications and journalism, and is involved in multiple organizations at the university, including the ISU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Student Council, CALS Ambassadors, Student Government, Legislative Ambassadors, and National Agri-Marketing Association and Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
