This is our first newsletter in a very long time, we thought that now is a great time to share with our friends some recent GOOD news and share some exciting specials we have to celebrate the fact we are OPEN!!!

FIJI is officially open effective today and the atmosphere around the nation is something many can only compare to when Fiji wins the Melrose Cup or Olympic gold On March 19th 2020, we like many other operators were forced to hibernate our tourism opertaions as a result of the global pandemic that is Covid19.

Like many others we were forced to send the entire Safari family home for their own safety, after some 3months we saw a slight glimmer when we began offering our services for the local market every Saturday which provided some relief, that was until the 2nd wave hit us here in Fiji, in April 2021.

This saw a complete shut down of most things in Fiji, as the Delta strain was now officially here.

The Fiji government managed to procure access to Astra Zeneca vaccines and we were fortunate enough to be able to access the vaccine early. We were amazed at how many of the team rolled up their sleeves to get a jab.

The team were acutely aware of the signifiance of this action, knowing that by doing so, this would enable us to welcome back visitors sooner, rather than later.

So here we are now, on this momentous day where Fiji is officially open and welcoming visitors back to the friendly islands after what feels like a lifetime.

Many of the team have welcomed new family members, with some being due in the next month.

When we came together today to run through what the new operations will look like, it really was like family members reconnecting.

We here at Sigatoka River Safari cannot wait to share the beauty of our region and of course give all our friends a SIMPLY UNFORGETTABLE experience.
