The Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinics at SKCC bring together specialists to collaboratively evaluate disease and recommend a plan of care. In one visit, patients have the opportunity to see a highly skilled team of experts that specialize in treating cancer at every stage, from newly diagnosed to advanced disease, and offer patients access to novel clinical trials and innovative treatments. Precision medicine is at the center of all of our multidisciplinary care, and we offer access to genetic testing and the latest clinical trials. Each team includes key support from multiple specialists including medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, pulmonologists, social workers, speech therapists, oncology nurses, nutritionists, and specialized supportive care providers. Each clinic is supported by navigators who assess patient needs to determine whether the Multidisciplinary Cancer Clinic is the appropriate place for the patient to be evaluated, and offer support to both patients and specialists in preparing for the clinic.
