TOGETHER 02 THE MAIN HALL The Main Hall in the Sibelius Hall has acoustics that generate big feelings. It is a masterpiece of sound and silence that has been praised and awarded around the world. The adjustable acoustics allow the Hall to be used in different types of concerts and as a conference facility. A 52-stop pipe organ that was completed in 2007 stands on the balcony behind the main stage. The Sibelius Hall is also the home base of the world renowned Lahti Symphony Orchestra. The harmonious colour scheme of the Main Hall offers lovely surroundings for big conferences, seminars and other celebrations.

LIFE AROUND THE CLOCK 03-04 THE CARPENTER’S FACTORY Located in the old part of the Sibelius Hall is the Carpenter’s Workshop that acts as a multifunction facility. On the street level, the Carpenter’s Workshop is an intimate, yet effective facility that can be turned into anything between a lounge and a stamp exhibition venue. On the second floor, the Carpenter’s Hall has a fixed stage and a bar. This hall is great for conferences, lectures, exhibitions and concerts. At night it turns into the popular Finlandia Club.

The Finlandia Club – the hottest club in town is proud to present the best artists in Finland and the most inspiring visitors from abroad. The Finlandia Club can actually boast 100 years of street cred; this old factory hall was refurbished into a concert hall, and now has an ambiance any music lover will approve. The Carperter’s Hall is an intimate club, but can be just as easily transformed into a venue for conferences, lectures, celebrations or exhibitions, and of course concerts.

10 High up in the old part of this conference area an impressive view opens to the Forest Hall and its tree branches from the VIP Sauna. It is fantastic for meetings or just having a relaxing sauna evening. The VIP Sauna is suitable for 16 persons with an oval-shaped conference table and chairs. The decoration also includes sofas as well as the art of Professor Mauno Hartman.

RESTAURANT LASTU & TUOHI BAR
The Lastu Restaurant is located on the street level of the Sibelius Hall. It is a lunch restaurant and also functions as a party and event venue. From the balcony and terrace, a beautiful view opens to the Lake Vesijärvi. Tuohi, located in the Forest Hall, is a stylish bar serving concert guests.
The caterer at the Sibelius Hall is Kanresta Oy. It has received praise for its modern kitchen that prepares breakfasts, lunches and gala dinners to the guests of the Sibelius Hall. The essence of the food is a combination of the best local ingredients, their flavours and aromas finalised with an appetising visual look. Kanresta’s principle is to prepare all food from scratch with good quality and authentic flavours. The menus favour seasonal organic foods and local fresh produce.
