Do I Need to Take HAAD, DHA, MOH & DHCC UAE Medical License Exams? The UAE health system is operated by four regulatory agencies, namely DHA, HAAD, MOH and DHCC, which are responsible for ensuring that UAE citizens and foreign residents receive the best treatment and medical care possible. These regulators are also responsible for enforcing quality standards for approval through approval testing. Doctors and healthcare professionals must take these exams to be approved to apply for a position and practice in the UAE. Road to Residency in UAE has exemption criteria for HAAD, DHA, MOH and DHCC. Types of UAE Health Care Licenses are as follows:

DHA License: This license is issued by the Dubai Health Authority for hospital jobs in Dubai. HAAD license: This license is issued by the “Abu Dhabi Health Authority” for hospital work in AlAin and Abu Dhabi. MOH License: This license is issued by the "Ministry of Health" for positions in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm al Quwain. DHCC License: This license is valid for work in Dubai Healthcare City

Requirements for participation in the UAE
