Iron Petal is a collection of sixteen stories woven from strands of myth and folklore. The collection includes mysterious tales informed by the author's dreams and reflections upon the Celtic Otherworld, Greek myth, and even Finnish tradition. Other tales explore the inner-world and non-linear time via archetype and cultural figures such as the Irish Manannán, Mexican La Santa Muerte, and North American Wendigo. Also among the sixteen stories is a retelling of the Welsh legend 'Arthur in the Cave' and a cyberpunk reimagining of the Greek myth 'Prometheus'. This is a debut self-published work, conceived by the mind of a self-taught writer in what began as an attempt at improving spelling and grammar for his university studies back in 2016.
