• Small community dedicated to making one Hill of a difference in our students’ lives!
If you would like to transfer into a traditional on-campus bachelor’s degree program, this guide is for you! If you are interested in Seton Hill’s Online Bachelor’s & Certificates Program, please visit setonhill.edu/obc.
To help with your transfer decision, we will be happy to:
• Provide a free unofficial evaluation of your current academic credit situation prior to applying to Seton Hill. You can request a free credit evaluation when you fill out a request for information form at setonhill.edu/undergradtransfer.
• Help you choose courses at your current school that will meet the requirements for a degree at Seton Hill if you plan to transfer in the future. To request free transfer counseling, just send us an email to admit@setonhill.edu with the subject line: Request for Transfer Counseling.
It’s possible to transfer up to 90 credits to Seton Hill. The amount you will be able to transfer will depend on your major and the courses you’ve taken already. (Our free credit evaluations and transfer counseling will help you figure this out.)
To earn a baccalaureate degree from Seton Hill, a transfer student must:
• Take at least half of your major’s courses at Seton Hill.
• Earn your last 30 credits at Seton Hill.
If you select a minor, at least one half of the required credits for the minor must be taken at Seton Hill.
Seton Hill University has rolling admissions, so you can apply any time. We will need you to provide us with:
• A completed application (apply online for free at setonhill.edu/apply).
• Official college transcripts from all colleges/ universities attended.
• A high school transcript ONLY IF you do not have an associate’s degree or have completed fewer than 60 credit hours.
• SAT/ACT scores (required if fewer than 25 credits are attempted).

It’s important to get a feel for your future career while you’re still in college. Many Seton Hill students also want the opportunity to study abroad, help others, and expand their horizons as part of earning a degree. Depending on your goals, experiential learning at Seton Hill can take many forms, including:
• Internships, on and off campus.
• Making a difference in the world through service learning.
• Student teaching (for future teachers).
• Research opportunities, both on and off campus.
• Study abroad - in short trips with faculty and fellow students, or longer-term with our university partners in other countries.
• Clinical experiences.
• Student professional, educational and service clubs, organizations and honors societies.
Our hilltop campus and small town location make Seton Hill a safe place to live and learn. We have our own campus police and free health, counseling and disability services for students.
COZY
Our residence halls are modern, comfortable and close to academic buildings, the McKenna Center (which includes a free fitness center) and playing fields. Our dining hall and cafes serve everything from Starbucks coffee to food grown right here on the Hill.
FUN
On-campus activities include everything from our 21 NCAA DII sports teams to student social clubs and intramurals to formal traditional events like Christmas on the Hill. It’s easy to jump on a campus shuttle to get off-campus and visit coffee houses, shops and restaurants in Greensburg. And Pittsburgh is only 35 miles away.
