MIND.BODY.SOUL - Wellness Retreat
This wellness centre is infused with Indian naturopathic practices and helps one follow a healthy living with ancient knowledge of wellness and health. It is a place designed for prole to get into the habit of a healthy mindset and self-care to nourish the body, mind and soul.
SITE
The site is located in gokarna overlooking a beautiful sunset and kudle beach. It is a 6 acre plot close to the Dandibagh village.
CONCEPT & STRATEGY
The concept is to create a space that creates a sense of healing for the people visiting the retreat, while designing along the contours or site context.
MASTERPLAN
The retreat has two entries. The main entry is for the guests who stay here and participate in the retreat’s programme. The other entry is for the public who can access the restaurant and sensory gallery and tourists who come seeking accommodation in gokarna.
TINY HOUSE
A Tiny house amidst acres of farming fields for people who love working remotely and stay connected to nature. It is a tiny equipped house for two that overlooks a beautiful scenery.
WRIGHT INSPIRES
Prathima Seethur is the Founder and Principal Architect of the eco-responsive design firm, Wright Inspires based out of Bengaluru, India.
The firm’s approach to designing homes is far beyond standard measures such as BHKs and number of square feet, rather, it lies in conceptualising a home in its starkly distinguishing elements such creative use of spaces, its sociable sunlight, whimsical ventilation, use of eco-friendly materials that congregate to provide a certain wow-factor, setting them apart from their contemporaries.

CONCEPT
The house revolves around the concept of levels. The clients had a requirement for a multi - activity space/ man cave. Since this space was moved to the basement one section of the house is down and the other section is on stills which acts as a parking area. The connection between these two sectors form levels throughout the house making it more interesting and playful.
