EXPANSION PROJECT
TERM : FOURTH SEMESTER
PROJECT : PRIMARY SCHOOL
TYPE : STONE MASONARY
SITE :DHOKSAN
AREA :1888 SQ. M.
PROJECT BRIEF:
In this project we were tasked to expand shree shiladevi school to high school by building kindergarten and primary school. The building was asked to be low tech and environment friendly. The school should have 6 classes accomodating 18 students each.
CONCEPT: (SECOND HOME)
For me school should not be a home but it must be like a second home that fills the gap of facilities that home cannot provide. While researching regarding the facilities what home lacks I came to a conclusion with three subjects:
1. Interaction
2. Sense of responsibbility
3. Individual growth to mental simulation
Thus, my concept revolves around fullfillment of these conditions by creating interacvtive school where children can develop together interacting with eachother. This type of school will help student develop a mindset which enables them to adpat anywhere in this fast-paced modern world.

PROJECT : MIXED USED BUILDING
TYPE : RCC
SITE : CHABAHIL
AREA : 4576.42 SQ.M
PROJECT BRIEF:
The objective of the project was to design a mixed used commercial complex. Students were assigned with respective anchorshops which they had to study about and design the mall based on it. The options were gamingzone, movie hall, gym and banquet.
CONCEPT:
I was assigned gamingzone as my anchor shop. Therefore the whole project was based on ātetrisā a builing block game. There are 5 different blocks of tetris. The entire planning was based on placement of these 5 blocks in different sizes. The connecting square boxes acted as showroom space and the blocks as a whole provided the form of the building.

PERCEPTION
NAME & ITS MEANING
TERM :FIRST SEMESTER
PROJECT :PERCEPTION
PROJECT BRIEF:
In this project we were tasked to provide the meaning of our name through graphical perception. Here i have described how the meaning of my name was derived and shown its graphical representation.
MEANING AND CONCEPT:
- MEDIATATING BODY
- SHRI-YANTRA
- COSMOS
Shreeyan derieved from the word shri-yantra which is a form of mystical diagram used in the shri vidhya school of hinduism. It consist of nine interlocking triangles that surround a central point known as bindu. These triangles represents the cosmos and its link with human body. It is a complex sacred geometry used for worship devotion and meditation. Shri means rsplidence wealth and prosperity where as yantra means instrument or machine in sanskrit. The sacred symbol is in use for thousands of year and its origin is still clouded in mystery.
Here in this diagram, the shadow represents the meditating human body. The geometrical diagram is of shri-yantra and the background is of cosmos. The diagram is the graphichal perception of the meaning of my name shreeyan where shri-yantra links human to the cosmos.
