Throughout this catalog we will lay out the features and product comparisons, but spare you the hyperbole about huge lines and epic pow days written by a copywriter.

As parents there is nothing that brings us more joy than an ear-to-ear smile on our kids’ faces. We believe that spending time in the outdoors together, unplugged and connecting as a family, is among the best ways to evoke those heart-warming grins. Creating amazing outdoor experiences isn’t easy but we do it for the physical and mental health of our kids as well as ourselves. All the “work” to create those experiences is instantly worth it when we make the kinds of family memories that last a lifetime.

As the families that make up this brand, we ski and snowboard in the winter. We mountain bike, hike, backpack, camp, skateboard, and surf in the spring and summer. And we bring our kids. No matter what mother nature throws at us.

To ensure we are meeting your family’s needs, we don’t just use small focus groups, we include all our customers in our Co-Design process to incorporate your input on styles, features, performance levels, colors, and more.

And we know good gear is expensive. So, in the pursuit of excellence, we cut out the retail middleman and only sell directly to you, allowing us to make higher performance products that cost you less than other brands.

We are so honored to have Olympic Champions Julia Mancuso and David Wise as Co-Owners in the business and taking on active roles in the operations. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team having skied and competed all over the world, at the highest levels, in the most demanding conditions. They help us with fabric selections, putting those fabrics through real world testing, and ensuring that the fit and features are on point for every product we make.

WHATS NEW THIS YEAR?

Driven by requests from our customers, we are continuing to expand our product assortment. We have a new women’s hardshell (pg 42), a kids glove with revolutionary technology (pg 44), new colors in our fan favorite products, and the start of a whole new brand (AKOVA) that will address the broader outdoor market (pg 45).

In our continuous efforts towards sustainability, our SHRED DOG RENEWED program has continued growing. It allows families to trade in their old gear to be refurbished, keeping it out of landfills, and finding it a new adventurous home. You then get 30% Off new gear to replace your old stuff! We have also continued our mission to help get even more kids outside through gear donations and a percentage of sales going to non-profits that share our mission. (see page x for more details).

BETTER THAN I THOUGHT WAS EVEN POSSIBLE

I searched for a year to find kids gear that was suitable for my grom, who I’ve always bought the best outerwear possible for because he loves to be outside, especially in the snow. From building snow forts, to strapping in at 14k. But I also wanted the versatility so he could wear it from early season to camp Woodward at copper in august! And the SHRED DOG elevated bibs/jacket exceeded our expectations! We’ve had conditions from -20’ to 78’ snowboarding and my son is always comfortable! I’m always impressed with Shred Dog’s design. This jacket has a great fit and has the pockets in all the right places! The zip in Insulator (sold separately) is a total bonus. On colder days, we zip the insulator into the shell and it’s one less jacket for kids to lose. Win! The fully taped seams, the rubber wrist gasket, the big hood, the zippers, the color, the price.... everything is so well thought out. If you are looking for a shell for your kid, buy this one. You will not be disappointed.

Holy Cow, these bibs are AWESOME. They’re thick enough to keep my kiddo warm but allows her the movement to shred on the mountain. I love how they adjust, and the top bib can be removed if desired (we wear the bib for extra warmth). Since my daughter started wearing SHRED DOG gear, we’ve had a role reversal: I now have to ask her to take a break so I can get warm, because she never gets cold these days! This gear let’s my daughter stay out on mountain for hours! Highly recommend.

ELEVATED ZIP-OFF RACE PANT

You’ll Never Buy Another Race Pant. Best zip-off pant on the market. My kiddo has had all the brands of zip-off pants and these are the only ones that withstood a year of wear. A year means more than 120 days on the mountain. The thing I was the most impressed with was the cuff. Every pant he has had the elastic ankle cuff rip away from the pant. Not on these! The elastic is still tight and the cuff still secure to the pant. Another nice feature was not having a snap at the base of the pant over the zipper. These always break and having a weighted flap is a much better design. The vents, of course, great feature. The re-inforced, articulated knees allowed for a better range of motion and no holes in the knees! The adjustable waist band is velcro, but it holds! We set my kiddo’s waist size at the beginning of the season and the velcro held its place all season - unheard of! The fit on these is perfect for a racer - the legs are trim and flare right at the boot - not a huge leg all the way down. Perhaps the most overlooked feature - pull tabs on each zipper. I have a neurodivergent kiddo that struggles with zippers and buttons - these pull tabs made a huge difference in him being able access his pockets and zip-up his legs on his own, even in gloves. These pants exceeded our expectations.

Technical Performance & Everyday Use

AWESOME!

My kids are picky when it comes to how their clothes feel and they LOVE their base layers from Shred Dog. They want to wear them every day, everywhere. Great for snow sports and everyday wear when it’s cold. I wish Shred Dog made these for adults!

THIS BASE LAYER ROCKS!

Our daughter loves her new 1/4 zip base layer. It is perfect as a year-round layer. It is great as a layer for skiing. She also wears it when she mountain bikes. We live in Utah and it is nice to put in a backpack and pull out as the afternoon temperature drops. Love the color too!!

This mid-layer fleece is “AMAZING” according to my 8-yearold son. He never feels like he is wearing a coat when he is sporting Shred Dog’s mid-layer gear, no matter what style. This is not our first rodeo with Shred Dog so we already know it will wash up remarkably with zero color fading, stains never seem to set in with any of their apparel and, as a single mom, no one can beat Shred Dog’s prices and match the quality without being almost double the price! Forget North Face, Patagonia, REI, etc! Shred Dog matches, if not exceeds, their quality for half the price! I will never buy anything else for my kiddos!

Our go to midlayer jacket. It fits well, is easy to move around in, and keeps them warm but not too hot. From skinning uphill to bootpacking to taking a couple of rest breaks, the temperature regulation has been spot on. Paired with a shell, it has been comfortable on New England chairlifts. At home, they toss it on for school or to visit friends. As a parent, I’m psyched for the quality materials, bomber construction, and the Adjust-A-Fit feature.

We were tired of paying too much for clothing that was not of the highest quality and grown out of after one season on the slopes. So, when Shred Dog came along, we were one of the early customers! We literally have been buying their clothing from the day the company began selling - and will continue to do so. Both our 9 year old boy and 12 year old girl love the convertible blip pants and mix and match jackets. They also look cool on the mountain and very noticeable - i.e., we can see them from a distance which I am sure all parents can appreciate. When we did have a problem with the bib zip on one of the original pieces, Shred Dog replaced the the whole convertible bib pant immediately - no question asked. Fabulous service the company stands behind its product and acts accordingly. As new product emerges, we will for sure continue to be loyal customers - the company has earned that.

I have tried all kinds of ski brands from HH to Arc’Teryx. I then found out that Shred Dog makes a men’s shell. I used it for the first time at Snowbird and love it. This may be a little detail - but I love that it has a lift pass pocket in the sleeve. I looked at so many shells that don’t have that feature! I also love the color! It has all the features that I want and need for less than 1/3 of the costs of other quality shells. I am between sizes but found the small was just perfect and I even have room for a back protector. Great job, Shred Dog!! Love it! I usually ski in Utah 50-80 days.

MAY BE THE PERFECT INSULATOR?

I was a bit concerned that it wouldn’t breathe as well as my Patagonia Nano-Air, but it has been absolutely bomber. I’ve worn it in 4-degree F days and been plenty warm and skiing hard in 48 degree days without any dampness. This rocks as an insulator or a light jacket and is now my mainstay.

My kids have been wearing all things Shred Dog for the past few years. I’m glad I followed their lead and got a coat for myself. It is great quality, a nice weight and slight stretch, and super cool pockets. The chest pocket is angled perfectly for getting a phone in and out, and even if you forget to zip it, the phone won’t fall out when you bend over! The “season pass pocket” is easy to access if you prefer to use it for a credit card, tissues, or some candy for the lift ride. Best of all, it’s not “crinkly” sounding when I move, so I’ll be able to hear the kids on the ski lift.

HDry technology is a revolution in waterproofness for gloves. Instead of a traditional hanging liner that allows water to pool between the face fabric and membrane, (think of ringing all the water out of your gloves after a wet day) the HDry membrane is bonded to the outer face fabric. No room for water to pool and better dexterity. A DWR on the face fabric helps shed water from the exterior. The palm and wrap-around fingers feature Pittards Oiltac leather for unmatched grip and feel in both wet and dry conditions through specialized polymers and fiber structure that limits water uptake within the leather.
