It’s easy to get swept away in a world that likes to focus on negative things. Just scroll through your social media or news outlet and there is no shortage of Bad News or Negative Stories from politics, weather, war, or sickness. It becomes easy to overlook all of the amazing, wonderful and happy things that happen all around us. The warmth of spring after a long winter, the first steps of a newborn calf, a successful sale, the well-earned champion slap that you have worked hard all year for. There is so much God gives us to rejoice in.

Walking through the Barns of Fort Worth for the first time in a year I was greeted by excited smiles and sincere hugs from friends that live a world away from me. Take a minute every day to focus and share something good. Fill your social media with something that gives you a reason to be glad in the day given to you. It can be as simple as a beautiful sunrise, time with friends or family, to the innocence of a newborn baby calf. It’s the little things in life that make you see all the good. •
