Sanctuary The “secrets of the Old Masters” are not completely lost—instructor Holly White-Gehrt firmly believes that anyone with the passion and tenacity required to develop the skills has the potential to paint and draw like the old masters. She teaches the Hill Country Atelier, which is beginning its third year this fall at the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram. Holly received her atelier training in Seattle from Juliette Aristides and Tenaya Sims, and subsequently taught for two years at Georgetown Atelier and Gage Academy before moving to Kerrville. Before that, she earned a BFA in Studio Art from Pacific Northwest College of Art and a BA in Anthropology at University of Texas Austin.
