CNIB Info Session Thursday, September 28th, 6:30pm Brooks Public Library is excited to present a fun info session with CNIB’s Community Education Specialist Denice Duchak. Topics will include: How to protect your eyes Different eye conditions CNIB services and programs New assistive technologies available for you or a loved one (available for purchase). Also try the simulation glasses and learn what its like to live with vision loss. This is a free drop in program

Sports Nutrition Info Session Thursday, September 21st 6:30pm Come to the library where Mark from Allmax talks about what you need when working out or playing sports, what things help your competitive edge, and a question and answer period! This is a free drop in program The Alberta Foundation for the Arts travelling Exhibition Program

Loom August 28th—September 27th Basic in construction, yet intricate in output—looms are the apparatus that brings Liv Pedersen’s narratives to life. Pedersen has woven whimsical scenes based on her experience and vivid imagination. Scenes of family outings, home life, leisure activities, work, travel, her Danish heritage and even the occasional troll are reoccurring motifs that offer us a glimpse of the artist’s life. 2 Events
