Season

Summary

After an unconventional fall, the Shorter University Football Hawks were back in action in the spring of 2021. Head coach Zach Morrison was optimistic about the opportunity. “Our guys were just so excited to compete. Most other teams in our conference are just practicing, and we’re actually getting out there and lining up against a different colored jersey,” he said. The Hawks faired exceptionally well in the spring season, winning two out of the four non-conference contests. As he reflected on the shortened spring sprint, Morrison said, “I’m just pumped for our guys. They deserve this, and this is just a glimpse into what our program could be.” Photos and Story by: Justin Franklin
