Sink that putt! The men’s and women’s golf teams were one of the few Gulf South Conference teams able to play this fall. The spring season wrapped up in April in Mobile, Alabama. The women’s team had one team win. Freshman Paola Rosario, had three top 10s, one top five, the Freshman of the Week Honors three times, and the Player of the Week Honors once. Sophomore Averi Schrews, had three top 5s, an individual win, and won the Player of the Week once. The men’s team had third place finishes twice. Juniors Charles Collings and Jamie Ruengmateekhun both had one top 10 finish.

Both golf teams are proud of their dedication and hard work this season.

Sophomores Madison Smith and Erica Jones not only serve on the cheer team together, but they are also roommates. Senior Lauren Causey, junior Chloe Gray, and junior Courtney Durham have cheered at Shorter since their freshmen year.
