A Perfect Harmony: Rochester Pops Orchestra’s Success with The Visitor
From the start, Cindy, George, and their staff have provided the Rochester Pops with ads displaying outstanding graphics as well as advice when it comes to not making our ads “too wordy”and to have the illustrations speak for themselves. Opening each concert proof is a treat. The personal attention and creativity of the staff is remarkable.
In addition to many of our “local” fans who look forward to our concert ads in the Visitor, having the magazine available in so many places in the Rochester area makes it invaluable to guests and visitors, many of whom are Mayo Clinic patients who are here for temporary stays. I work a fair amount with ticket sales for our concerts and receive numerous calls from Mayo Clinic patients looking for things to do. Since our concerts are held on the weekends, this is a perfect fit. Many of the inquiries start with “I saw your ad in this magazine called the Visitor.” Some people literally bring a copy of the magazine along with them to the concert if they are purchasing tickets in person.
Without a doubt, advertising in the Visitor plays a major part in our success as part of the Rochester entertainment scene.
