Greetings to all our faithful readers of The Shoppers Remedy. We will be entering our 40th year of publishing the Remedy in July. I want to thank all of you for reading and supporting our display advertisers who bring you the Shoppers Remedy.
Before I started publishing my own paper, I always thought that papers and magazines were owned by wealthy people but the truth is a majority of us in media survive by businesses and people who constantly support us with their hard earned dollars by advertising with us. And they in turn need your support to keep on keeping on. The truth is we need one another in all areas of our lives. The golden rule is so important for society to survive; Treat one another they way you want to be treated. For over 35 years I lived in Liverpool. Recently I have moved to a 55 plus community and have my home base in Mifflintown. It is a true privilege to be able to work from my home as I have for over 39 years. Unfortunately in the move I had to change my phone number so there was some confusion as they didn’t even forward the calls and it made it sound as if I had fallen off the face of the earth.
