In my 5-year voyage as an architect, I've come to view architecture as a symphony of human ingenuity, a poetic expression of form and function. My journey is guided by an unwavering respect for the subtle interplay between art and science, where every structure holds a unique narrative. As a humble disciple of the arts, I see each project as an opportunity to create a lasting masterpiece, one that resonates with the human spirit and endures through time. This commitment to the profound nuances of design has deepened my understanding of innovation as a form of reverence for tradition.

The design of independent housing in a quasi gated community (33 Luxury Villas,A Clubhouse, A cove garden and other amenities),is an innovative reimagination of how such projects are designed and executed.
Among other things, it reimagines housing on several levels
It reimagines the role of the architect and the builder as an enabler than that of an enforcer of space.
It reimagines mass housing as a landscape of subtle difference rather than endless repetition.
It reimagines the role of a home buyer as an active participant in the design process rather than a passive recipient without agency.

The site which orginally was a quarry, comes with its own set of perks and drawbacks which were handled with great precision, to sclupt out and create The Formist Cove Project.
The quarry has a 16MTR main road which runs along the face of the site , surrounded by rich mix of landuse ie:residential type on the east and west side , with sufficient commercial projects on the north side (front side) of the site. On the south side of the site, towards its back side, where the clubhouse and the swimming pool is located , A dense forest at the rear of the community not only enhances aesthetics but also acts as a natural sound and visual buffer, ensuring tranquility for residents.
the layout design recognizes the multi-functionality of the Indian street and the main avenue of the layout is a unique design that merges the functionality of a road carrying mild traffic and the playfulness of the Indian streetscape where children colonize the streets whenever they can.
DESIGN
Design is done by the architects with the developer’s input
Building is conctructed by the developer
Home buyers design their own homes using the combinatorial system (app)
Homes are owned and occupied upon completion
(Home buyers buy the homes to be built )
(Design for the combinatorial system is done by the Architects with the developer’s input)
(Developer builds the homes as per the design of the home buyers)
(homes are owned & occupied upon completion)
The modular concept design allows you to customize your villa in diverse direction. The design is divided into 3 zones on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. Each zone has a range of spatial and programmatic options that, a home owner can choose according their requirements.
The Formist Cove is a project that tries to reimagine the way architecture of a mass housing project is effected. instead of a ‘one size fits all’ approach, at the cove, the home owner is enabled to design his own home by a modular approach to space The design straddles the divide between the uncontrolled cacophony that results out of unbridled variation and change and the uniformity of endless repetition.
The design for The Formist Cove uses a combinatorial modular approach to creating housing which allows people to choose modules, mix and match them to create a large number of permutations, but all within a framework defined by the designers.
The design for the villas is not so much to do with an individual house plan, elevation or section, but rather about a robust system where a simple universal structural grid is overlaid with a system of spatial modules that are allowed to be combined with one another using certain rules of adjacencies and compatibility across the plan and section.
In a way, a systemic universe is designed with its rules of agglomeration and combination. This systemic universe has a range of possibilities where in each house designed by a homeowner becomes a singularity that is a part of a larger set.The architect’s role in this project becomes that of a designer of a system that enables difference and variation rather that enforces it through whim.
More like a DNA code that lets a species proliferate not through replication but through variation and evolution, the design system allows for various functional and spatial needs of the users to be accomodated.
The Treehouse is a standalone tower of 8 floors with 7 flats per floor.
Besides providing cleanly designed, Vaastu compliant flats of 2 and 3 bedrooms each, the design strives to provide an active lifestyle that combines a closeness to nature and a general sense of well being.
A unique feature of the architecture is the club. In this design, the club is deconstructed into various elements and all these elements are diffused across the centre of the building that we call, De‘Club.

In addition to the central club, the balconies here are not just simple terraces but are treated as landscaped courtyards in the sky. Partially open, they incorporate vertical vegetable gardens that encourage growing your own food. As an architectural concept, The Treehouse has seen years of development and fine tuning. We’re thrilled to see this idea finally come to light.
It re-examines the traditional ‘clubhouse’that is a mainstay in all new-age residential buildings and questions the way we interact with this space. While most clubhouses pack in a host of activities in a single area, they aregenerally cordoned off to a location that has limited visibility or restricting access and this results in lesser usage of the facility.
With De’Club concept, various amenities like the squash court, table tennis and billiards rooms, gymnasium, swimming pool are all strong on each floor at the centre of the building. Every floor thus becomes a part of the club, while also serving as the main circulation area of the building. It acts as a social space that enlivens everyday life and can be compared to a city square, full of activities.
The amenities also become highlights of the interior public spaces while the openness and visibility creates an energetic dynamism when viewed from the outside.
The deconstructed club, ‘De’Club’ is the defining aspect of The Treehouse and is a feature that makes this project unique.TERRACE GARDEN

Exposed Concrete skin of the Farmhouse (which adopts minimalism as a design language),folds along the cantilevered Forms (The Living areas), which is derived from the strategic zoning & sectional segregation of spaces inturn balances the visual mass.
As the spaces progress linearly, from the living areas to the service areas, the transition happens through storage space which is clad with frosted glass, and due to its shape,is clandestinely tucked between the two contrasting shapes on either side,it buffers, purosed almost like a bridge to the pillar of services. The Pillar is clad with Wooden Verticals allowing views of the surrounding landscape, at the same providing security by acting as a visual barrier to its occupant.
