Location: Palo Alto, CA
2 story house with a basement 7,480 sq.ft
This two-story residential project, designed for a family in Palo Alto, features a basement, attached ADU, and JADU. The first floor includes an openconcept kitchen, living room, ADU, JADU, garage, and an outdoor patio with an exterior kitchen. The basement provides communal spaces, including a gym, wine cellar, and family room, while the second floor offers privacy with the bedrooms and bathrooms.
I worked closely with the principal designer, presenting multiple design alternatives to ensure client satisfaction. My responsibilities included managing the permitting process, coordinating
submissions, and incorporating revisions based on city regulations and the client’s unique requirements. I addressed the challenge of adhering to the municipality’s height guidelines and was responsible for developing detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plans, ensuring full compliance with local codes. By maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and timely revisions, I facilitated a smooth approval process and kept the project on track.

Location: Yad Elihu Neighborhood, Tel Aviv 420 Units
This urban renewal project is a key development in the revitalization of the Yad Elihu neighborhood, involving the planning of seven new buildings (420 units) above three parking floors. These new buildings will replace four outdated residential buildings (120 units) that will be demolished. The aim of this renewal is to attract new tenants and promote growth and development in the neighborhood by blending new urban structures with the existing fabric. The project includes six ten-story buildings and one 18-story high-rise. It features a variety of residential units, including onebedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom apartments, penthouses, and duplexes.
Lower-level commercial spaces, a modern kindergarten, and additional community amenities are also part of the development.
As part of the architectural team, I played a pivotal role in developing the initial concept alongside the firm’s head architect. I led the design phases and generated detailed construction plans, coordinating closely with MEP consultants, structural engineers, and successfully working with the municipality to secure building permits. With construction underway, the project is set to significantly enhance the local community.

Altos CATALINA Bekom Design
Location: Los Altos, CA
Single family house
3,755 sq.ft
This one-story family home, located in the upscale community of Los Altos, was thoughtfully divided into public and private spaces. The open-concept kitchen leads to the living, dining, and family rooms, all of which open onto an outdoor patio featuring a BBQ area and firepit, perfect for gatherings. The private area includes the bedrooms and bathrooms, providing a clear separation between common and personal spaces.
I was responsible for designing the detailed aspects of the house, with a focus on the kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor areas. I developed comprehensive construction documents and
provided several design alternatives to meet the client’s needs. I guided the client through the materials selection process, creating renderings to support decision-making. Regular site visits were conducted to ensure the design intent was realized, working closely with contractors to ensure seamless execution of the project vision.

Palo Alto ADU Bekom Design
Location: Palo Alto, CA
ADU Addition 1000 Sq.Ft. with Accessory Structure
300 Sq.Ft.
This project involved the addition of an ADU featuring a multifunctional living space with a kitchen, sitting area, guest room, bathroom, and home theater. Additionally, an accessory structure was designed as a spacious gym with a sauna facing the pool, providing a serene environment for both exercise and relaxation.
I was involved from the project’s inception, conducting site research and reviewing zoning regulations to ensure compliance. I worked closely with the city plan checker to resolve preliminary concerns and ensure the design aligned with both the client’s vision and municipal requirements.
My responsibilities included designing the new unit, managing the permitting process, and collaborating with city officials to facilitate smooth approvals. This project underscored the importance of balancing aesthetic and functional goals while navigating regulatory demands.

Tel Aviv DIZENGOFF Rabin Architects
Location: Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv
22 Units with commercial spaces
This preservation project on the iconic Dizengoff Street in central Tel Aviv focuses on the renovation of a 1940s residential building with a commercial ground floor. This building is part of Tel Aviv’s conservation program. As part of the planning process, we paid special attention to the iconic double staircase, existing facades, and railings, restoring them to their original appearance in compliance with the municipality’s conservation department requirements. Additionally, the building’s ground floor, which houses commercial spaces, required careful restoration of the commercial facade to its original look.
The project aims to modernize the interior while retaining the building’s historic character. It includes the addition of two penthouse floors with roof access, blending contemporary living spaces with the architectural heritage of the area.
As one of the lead architects, I played a key role in the design process, working closely with the Tel Aviv Municipality’s building preservation department to ensure full compliance with conservation guidelines.
The project is currently in the advanced design stage, with the goal of offering a unique living experience that honors the building’s historical significance while introducing modern amenities.
