Hellenic Hull Mutual Association celebrated its 18th Anniversary On the occasion of Posidonia 2012, Hellenic Hull Mutual Association invited its Members, Associates and friends to a party held on Wednesday 30th May 2012, at Akrotiri club in order to celebrate its 18 years of successful operations. Over 2,500 guests honored the Association’s Board of Directors with their presence which were greeted by Hellenic’s Chairman, Antonios Agapitos, the Directors, Ioannis Xylas and George Alexandratos, as well as by the Managing Director of Hellenic Hull Management, Ilias Tsakiris. The party was attended by more than 300 shipowning companies, all the major international and local insurance brokers, solicitors’ firms and of course financial institutions. By its complete presence at the event, the Greek shipping community sent a message of unity and extroversion – major contributors to the campaign against the crisis. The Association with over 1,000 Members entered in its books, has gained the respect of the entire shipowning community, a clear indication of its responsible and reliable operations and the quality of services offered. Since its launch, Hellenic has insured more than 7,500 vessels against Hull& Machinery risks and has paid out net claims over US$125 million.
