Aegean Protective Coatings S.A. hosted a cocktail reception at La Veranda Roof Garden of the Metropolitan Hotel. The Monogioudis family together with their employees welcomed many customers, friends and PPG colleagues from abroad, who had the chance to discuss the latest developments in the field of marine coatings and exchange views on shipping related issues. A hot topic of discussion was the excellent presence of PPG at the Posidonia Exhibition, with increased participation from existing and potential customers - clearly a demonstration of PPG’s growth in the Greek Shipping Market. During the evening the guests enjoyed good food and drinks while listening to pleasant music and appreciating the excellent views of Athens and the coast, unique to the Roof Garden of the Metropolitan Hotel. Aegean Protective Coatings, established approx. 30 years ago in Piraeus are representatives of PPG, the leading global manufacturer of coatings.

American Hellenic Hull was presented to the international shipping market with a large reception at Akrotiri, south of Athens. The company’s first event, the evening reception attracted 4,000 people from the maritime sector including senior representatives of 350 ship-owning groups. The sponsors and managers of American Hellenic Hull thanked ship owners present at the gathering for their support for the new venture. It was underlined that the company is ready to compete for a significant share of marine business worldwide in all the major markets.
