ULTRA A Shimano’s Tribal Ultra range of carp rods are built with no expense spared - these really are the rods for the most serious of carp anglers! There are three models in the range, all of which cover various carp angling situations; from fishing the margins through to fishing at extreme range. The Ultra has been constructed from a high quality HPC400 blank and finished with gloss black cosmetics. Add to this an ultra light CI4+ reel seat and the latest Fuji SIC K type guides, and you can tell straight away that these rods have been built to be the ultimate carp fishing tools.

DIAMOND Incorporating a diamond power weave and compact NPS reel seat, this five rod range has been specially developed for the continental carp angler. The resin line clip stops any damage caused to the line and the Anti Wrap tip guide limits any problems on the cast. Extremely responsive HPC200 blanks maximize casting distance.

SUPRESSA This rod range combines beauty and strength with cutting edge technology. The 3K strengthening weave is also incorporated in the reel seat keeping weight to a minimum and offering the lightest blank possible combined with almost unbelievable power. The individual rod actions are specifically designed for there quarry, whether it’s the responsive 2.75lb all round version or a 3.25lb distance caster. The addition of an Anti-wrap tip guide reduces the chance of “crack offs” on the cast.

VELOCITY Available in 50mm or 40mm versions, and built on some of the slimmest blanks available at the price point, the Tribal Velocity is an outstanding rod. A 3K strengthening weave has been incorporated to maximise strength. Actions differ, depending on the test curve, the 12ft 2.75lb version being a more progressive fish playing rod and the 13ft 3.50lb designed to accurately cast leads extreme distances. A through action 10ft is specially designed for shorter distance casting.
