MINI BAITRUNNER REEL... SMALL IN SIZE, BIG IN VERSATILITY Mini Baitrunner reels have become a firm favourite of feeder and specialist anglers over the last few years. The small 2500 and 4000 sizes match perfectly to almost all feeder rods and also lighter specimen and barbel rods. For many anglers fishing Commercial venues for small and medium sized carp, the Mini Baitrunner reels are the first choice reel because of the Baitrunner free-spool facility. When engaged it is almost impossible to get broken when a fish takes the bait. This is especially important when Method feeder or bolt rig fishing which often results in savage bites. For specialist anglers fishing for powerful species like barbel and tench the same applies. Bolt rigs can be safely used, even at close range, which can be a big problem when using a normal type reel without a free-spool facility.
