Hans Spinnler
Hans has been fly fishing for Altlantic salmon, sea trout, and other domestic species for more than twenty years, especially on his own stretch of the Orkla in Norway. He is also often found on the coastline of Denmark, as well as on the waters of Switzerland and in the surrounding countries. In 2000 he successfully passed the European Fly Fishing Association examination to acquire the Basic Flyfishing Instructor. In May 2004 he was the first Swiss fly fisher to pass the examination for the Master Fly fishing instructor.
Massimo Malli
Massimo has been fly fishing for more than 20 years for Atlantic and Pacific salmon and Steelheads, using double handed rods. He is a FFF Two Handed Certified Instructor and is appreciated and well known by most of the hardcore double-handers. He has wide experience of fishing in Norway, Sweden, Russia, British Columbia and the major Italian rivers.
Guido Vinck
Guido was born in his grandparents tackle shop! At the age of 10 he could already handle a fly rod and when he was 20 years old he became Belgium fly casting champion for the first time. From that moment on, success came quickly to Guido : seven World Titles, Gold medalist on the World Games and more than 300 international victories. He won the individual fly fishing European Grand Slam twice and five times as a member of the Belgium National team. For 25 years he was chief editor of the fishing magazine Beet Belgium. At Efttex 2009 Guido won the award “Best Angling person of the year” for his achievements in fly fishing. Guido is a FFF certified and EFFA Master Casting Instructor.
Shane Jones
Shane started fly fishing when he was 12 years old. In his Teens he became Welsh Youth Champion on 5 occasions in both fishing and flytying, before winning the British Senior Advanced Class Final. He also holds a Gold and Bronze in the world renowned Scandinavian Open. He has captained the Welsh Youth, and later the Welsh Senior Flyfishing team. These days Shane is happiest coaching, teaching and watching the success and progress of others. He writes regular articles for UK publications and in the winter he travels the UK giving talks and demonstrations to clubs.

Robbie Winram
Robbie has covered most aspects of UK fly fishing. As well as being a proficient river and stillwater angler, an experienced instructor and guide in salmon and trout disiplines, he is also an expert fly-tyer and has also managed stillwater trout fisheries from Devon to Cumbria. Now based at Rutland Water, where he works at the reservoir’s tackle shop, he is a regular contributor in Trout Fisherman magazine.
Dave Burgess
Dave now lives between the River Deveron and River Don in Aberedeenshire after spending the last twenty five years working on the Chalk Streams of Southern England. Working on the practical side of the fishing industry he has gained a reputation for providing a fi rst class service for individual and corporate clients. He has fished and provided sporting lets on most if not all of the most famous beats from the Scottish Highlands to Southern England. Dave is a qualified game fishing instructor and consultant, and is interested in all forms of game fishing and conservation. His particular passion is fishing the heavy nymph for salmon and trout.
Blair Banks
Fishing is in Blair’s blood, his family have fished on Scotland’s River Spey for generations.He fi rst started fishing at the age of three and this lead to becoming a fanatical salmon and sea trout angler. It seemed only natural to make a career out of his passion. Blair is a ghillie on the famous Brae water beat on the Spey. He is also a keen competitive Spey caster, having won the Scottish Championship for the last three years.
Robert Harper
The coming of 2011 season will be Rob’s 35th season on the River Dee.Rob started as an apprentice ghillie with Dunecht Estates on the Lower Crathes/West Durris beats in 1976,serving 7 years before moving up stream to Dunechts other beat on the River Birse.After 7 years he moved back to Lower Crathes to take up the head ghillie position. Rob is a member of the Dee Ghillies Group with spells on the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board.

Bob White
Bob has been game fishing for over 30 years and has been a professional salmon fishing guide for the last 8 years on the river Tay in Perthshire, Scotland. He is the head ghillie on the Stanley fishing stretch of the Tay. Bob is a passionate fly fisher and has designed his own range of salmon flies. He has a good knowledge of salmon fishing in Scotland and Iceland.
Alun Rees
Alun has been fishing since early childhood. His widespread experience, ranging from trout and grayling, salmon and seatrout to saltwater fly fishing has given him a comprehensive knowledge of today’s tackle and techniques. Passionate about fly fishing, (in particular, sea trout fishing on his native Welsh rivers), a qualified GAIA (Game Angling Instructors Association) casting instructor in both double and single handed rods, occasional author and guide, Alun is able to impart his enjoyment of fly fishing to many anglers. His passion however is the seatrout of his native Welsh Rivers.
Sean Jones
Sean already has an impressive list of achievements - he has represented his country many times in both Stillwater and River Internationals, and captained his team at youth level in the Czech Republic. He’s also the youngest ever winner of the Bob Church Classic Trophy. Sean has fished throughout Europe, and he’s an expert Stillwater Competition angler; however, his passion is fishing for Wild Brown Trout and Grayling on the Rivers of Wales. In 2010 Sean won the individual Gold & team Gold medal at the European Grayling festival held in Llangollen, on the river Dee.
Simon Robinson
G.Loomis pro-guide Simon Robinson has had an excellent season, winning the British individual and team championships in both river and stillwater fishing. Simon took team and individual Gold in the river championship on the Tees in Northern England by winning all 4 sessions. England also won the event by a large margin. Simon was also part of the England stillwater bank team that fished in the fi rst ever bank international at Innis Fishery, Simon was fi rst in the morning session and second in the afternoon to take the individual title. By winning the individual bank title Simon became the fi rst and only angler to win individual international titles in boat, bank and river flyfishing.
