How Involved Should Parents Be in Preschool? Summary- Family and pre-school organization are two important institutions for the socialization of children. Their educational functions are different, but, for the full development of the child, their interaction is necessary. In kindergarten, the kid gets his first knowledge, acquires communication skills with other children and adults, and learns to organize his own activities. However, the upbringing of a child in a preschool institution cannot be isolated from family education. The interaction of teachers and parents in the educational process will help the all-round development of the child’s personality and successful preparation for school. The priority of family education requires new relations between the family and the preschool institution. The novelty of these relations is determined by the concepts of "cooperation", "interaction", and “partnership". It is necessary to create such conditions in kindergarten, which would allow parents to become truly equal participants in the educational process. Modern scientists note the importance of interaction and cooperation of teachers and parents for the upbringing and development of children of preschool age. In their works, they offer various forms and methods of fruitful cooperation between the preschool ​and the family. The main point in the context of “family - preschool” is the personal interaction of the teacher and parents in the process of raising and developing a particular child in a given family. In the practical implementation of this aspect, the need arises to use traditional forms of cooperation with the family, but yielding consistently positive results and the introduction of innovative technologies aimed at establishing partnerships between teachers and parents with the following tasks: -

Examine families in order to identify their needs, needs; To create an atmosphere of mutual understanding, common interests, and emotional mutual support, in order to establish partnership relations with the family of each pupil.

Building positive parent-child relationships; Combining efforts on the development and education of children; Increase of pedagogical, legal culture of parents; the realization of their pedagogical skills;
