The blessing of distance learning is that wherever there is internet, you can study. This means that you can take your classes at the office, in the truck, at home, at the neighbor's house, etc. That freedom can be especially important when the university you want is far away or you need to stay at home.

Although, personally, we would not recommend that you study lying down, the reality is that you can accommodate yourself however you want. It is not the same as when you are in a classroom: your posture must respect the rules of conduct and protocol of the university. If you study at home, the rules that apply are those of your home.

Considering that, it is best that you have three things in mind when creating your study space:

- Don't let comfort take away your concentration: The reason I don't recommend studying lying down is because when you're too comfortable, it's easy for laziness to take over. Your posture should help you stay focused; it's a problem if it takes away your desire to focus on your studies.

- It's your sanctuary: If you don't live alone, make your family or roommates understand that they can't bother you when you're there, or worse, use it to waste time. It is your place of study and should command some respect.

- Let only the essentials be there: Do not accumulate garbage on your desk or fill the chair in which you sit with clothes. You must keep your study place always clean and ready to receive you when you need to attend your classes, do your homework, or study for your exams
