Sherry here. By day, I work as a Registered Dietitian, but by night, I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and letterpress printer for Sherry’s Palette. I originally started Sherry’s Palette as a blog and art space to feature my designs and musings about Chinese and Asian American culture and food. This gradually transformed into the stationery line it is now as each new idea made its way into the cover of a greeting card.
It has been a dream come true that I got my hands on an antique Chandler & Price letterpress, lovingly named Gertrude, which I use to print most of my cards. I am happy to preserve this centuries-old craft, and I hope the recipients will enjoy the tactile feel of letterpress!
My designs are inspired by my upbringing as an Asian American, my love for food, and by everyday life events. You will see products that highlight nostalgic treats to ones that feature seasonal produce. You will see cards written in Chinese intended for those whose first language is not English as well as cards that provide encouragement. I hope to continue creating something for everyone.
A lot of love and care goes into making each product. I hope these items will bring a smile and lightness to someone’s day and that these cards will serve as a tangible place to hold all those special thoughts.

I think about food all the time. Going further than what I might eat for my next meal, I think about the seasonality of produce, the cultural context of food especially with my own upbringing, the foods that make you and me happy. Naturally, the subject of food weaved its way into my illustrations and designs. I want to invite all the recipients of these cards to think about what they’re eating, what is or isn’t familiar to them, and maybe have a conversation about it.

THE FINE PRINT

Payments
Payments can be made by check, Paypal, credit card or Venmo. Payments will be processed and received in full at the time of shipment.
Shipping
The buyer is responsible for all shipping and costs will be added to the invoice. Orders are typically shipped within 10-14 business days. All orders ship from Fremont, CA via USPS. We will do our best to accommodate you if you would like something sooner or prefer a different carrier. Only domestic orders are accepted at this time. Please note that we are not responsible for any domestic shipping carrier delays.
Backordered Items
All items are subject to availability. You will be notified if items are low in stock or backordered. All backordered items will be shipped free and charged when available. You will have the option to cancel any backordered items.
Returns / Cancellations
All sales are final with the exception of products damaged in transit. Notification of damaged items must be made within 5 calendar days of receiving the shipment.
Paper & Packaging
All greeting cards are letterpress or foil printed unless indicated otherwise on 100% cotton paper or similar cardstock. Each card is A2 sized (4.25” x 5.5” enclosed, 4.375” x 5.75” envelope) with a blank interior, wrapped in a compostable, clear wrap. If you prefer the cards to exclude the clear wrap to be more eco-friendly, please indicate this in your email. Note that as each card is letterpress printed by hand, slight variability may occur in inking, color, and positioning. Each card comes with a matching envelope. An alternate colored envelope will be substituted if the standard is not available.
Display & Social Media
