AQUATICS SPLASH: Splash is a free five week community outreach program that focuses on teaching children how to be safe in and around the water. It is our goal to reach out to all 2nd graders in the community to teach water safety and awareness this school year. HOMESCHOOL SWIM LESSONS: Grades 1 12, these 45 minute classes are divided by age and ability. Contact: Aquatic Director: Bill Miller, 248-6211 to arrange these lessons. HEARTSAVER AED: A 2-year CPR certification from American Heart Association. This class teaches adult, child and infant CPR as well as the use of an AED for an adult and emergency response for a choking adult, child or infant. Call for class offerings.
LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION COURSE: New cards for Lifeguard/CPR/AED are valid for 2 years. Must pass prerequisites on first night and bring a manual to class. AQUA FUSION: A shallow OR deep water aerobics class with a high level of strength and toning. You’ll learn how to maximize the water’s resistance and challenge each muscle group. You determine your comfort level this class can be done in the shallow or deep water. AQUA SPLASH: This is a low impact aerobic class that includes strength and toning for those needing to get their joints in motion in the safety of the warm water pool. AQUA BOOTCAMP: This class is meant to max your swimming fitness work out. We will use kickboards, weights, and zoomers to create a fast paced work-out to target muscle groups and improve swimming skills. Max. Enrollment: 8
262 ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION PROGRAM: A program created by physical therapists to keep joints flexible, muscles strong and to help reduce the pain associated with arthritis.
